Preserving workers' rights is the ultimate mission of American Income Life and National Income Life Insurance Companies. AIL supports those organizations that have worked for the same objectives we have. Below is a list of Workers' Rights organizations to which AIL has contributed:
Labor Project for Working Families
AIL believes in better working conditions and better life conditions for all working people, which is why it supports the Labor Project for Working Families. This project partners with unions to advocate for workers to have the time and opportunities to care for their families.
National Interfaith Committee for Worker Justice
This organization works toward educating, organizing, and mobilizing the religious community in the United States on issues concerning the improvement of wages, benefits, and conditions for workers.
Young Trade Unionists
This group of young union members discusses the history of the labor movement and current labor issues and concentrates on solutions to problems. This group shares AIL's ideology to increase participation in the labor movement for both members and non-members in order to foster solidarity.
Farm Labor Organizing Committee
FLOC works to enhance the voices of farmworkers in the decisions that affect them and to create a structure in which everyone within the farm labor system (corporations, growers, and farmworkers) can work together to find solutions to problems.
Farmworker Justice
A nonprofit organization that aims to empower migrant and seasonal workers, Farmworker Justice works to improve living and working conditions, immigration status, health, occupational safety, and access to justice for its workers. AIL supports this mission, as well as the organization's support for union organizing.
Jewish Labor Committee
AIL shares the Jewish Labor Committee's commitment to economic and social justice, as the JLC works to enable the Jewish community and the trade union movement to work side by side concerning matters of mutual interest and concern.
America's Agenda: Health Care For All
This organization works to bring national labor unions, businesses, health care providers, and government leaders together, in hopes of guaranteeing access to quality, affordable health care for all Americans.
