DC Labor Film Festival

AIL supports this movement as one that educates the community about labor issues through the cinematic arts.
John H. Lyons, Sr. Scholarship Foundation-Iron Workers Scholarship Fund
An organization which aids workers and higher education, the John H. Lyons, Sr. Scholarship Foundation has helped many sons and daughters of ironworkers attend college.
Building & Construction Trades Department Conference
The Building and Construction Trades Department helps construction workers have a powerful voice in government, bargaining, and in their communities.
New Brunswick Federation of Labour Scholarships
The NBFL calls workers together to promote a fair workplace through bargaining collectively the many issues that affect workers and working conditions. The NBFL offers scholarships to students entering their first year of post-secondary studies; those eligible are members and their children.
J.R. Hoffa Memorial Scholarship Fund
A true aid to both education and labor, this scholarship fund provides scholarships to the children and dependents of members of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.
Edward Kennedy Institute for U.S. Senate
The EMK Institute works toward educating the public about the government, stimulating public discourse, promoting participatory democracy, and encouraging participation in the public square. AIL supports this movement, as a well-informed public will be better equipped to make sound judgments in the working sphere.
Council for Adult & Experiential Learning (CAEL)
American Income Life understands it is never too late to receive a good education, which is why it offers its hand to CAEL, a nonprofit organization that strives to expand learning opportunities for adults.
America's Future Now
This conference included activists from across the country who assembled at the 2010 America's Future Now conference to speak out for reform in the United States.
The International Masonry Foundation
Monroe County Council CIO Social & Welfare Association
AIL supports the preservation and education of the history of labor throughout the United States and the world. The Monroe County Council CIO Social & Welfare Association, formed as a pro-labor organization, created a labor history museum for Monroe County, Michigan to preserve and display artifacts that illustrate the significance of Monroe County to the labor movement.
A. Philip Randolph Institute
AIL stands with the A. Philip Randolph Institute in its support of civil rights, promoting decent wages, labor law reform, decent minimum living standards, family leave and child care, and education and training programs, among other values and beliefs.
New Jersey AFL-CIO Leadership Conference
The New Jersey State AFL-CIO has a history of promoting the passage of legislation that serves the interest of working families, as well as helping to stop bills that would have destroyed jobs and benefits across New Jersey. This organization has established several departments to focus on issues facing working families.
"Next Up"
"Next Up" is a movement to encourage young people as those who are "next up" as the next generation of labor leaders.
Teamsters National Hispanic Caucus
The mission of this organization is to serve the needs of the Hispanic Teamsters and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters by awarding educational scholarships, contributing to charitable organizations, and improving the community and education programs.
Lake Winnipeg Research Consortium
Environmental issues affect us all, and AIL supports the goals of the LWRC, which include the creation of educational opportunities and increasing public awareness of Lake Winnipeg and the environmental issues that face it.
Teamsters National Black Caucus
AIL shares the concerns of the TNBC for the rights and conditions of workers. The TNBC addresses issues concerning black workers, including increased participation and outreach to communities of color.
SMWIA Scholarship Foundation
The Sheet Metal Workers International Association places the advancement of education through the unionized sector of the Sheet Metal Industry as a top priority. To support this priority, this fund awards scholarships to eligible students.
Teamster's Women's Conference
This conference includes speakers and educational workshops, and is designed for Teamster Women to share ideas for negotiating contracts, building unity, and addressing workplace matters.
Texas AFL-CIO Scholarship Fund
The Texas AFL-CIO, a state federation of labor unions, represents union members in Texas. Its Education Department administers an annual scholarship program for graduating high school seniors who have union members as parents.
OPCMIA Scholarship Foundation
Promoting unions and education, OPCMIA works to protect and improve the quality of its industry and the livelihood of trained plasterers and cement masons.
International Labor Communication Association
ILCA embraces the importance of the communication of labor's message as the professional organization of labor communicators in North America. Its members produce publications with a circulation in the tens of millions.
IBEW Construction & Maintenance Department
IBEW represents about 725,000 members who work in various fields, including Construction and Maintenance. In partnership with the National Electrical Contractors Association, IBEW administers a five year apprenticeship program to create well-trained craftsmen within this field.
